During lambing time

Animals

Today we farm about 200 ewes which lamb during March.

Harvesting of hay and silage takes place in late June or early July depending on the weather.

We used to have Beef Cattle but times have changed and we no longer do this. We do, however, have six of a rare breed of cow, namely 'White Park'.

White Park Cattle are a very old breed, kept in Britain for more than 2,000 years but which are still quite rare.
